He is averaging 28, 14 and 9 through 8 playoff games so far. No one will blink or notice unless Denver wins a ring.
But if he delivers a ring with numbers like that he’d be turning in one of the all time great post season performances. That combination of rebounds and assists is hard to find anywhere else.

Voter fatigue is always going to happen until you have playoff success. The fact he did as well as he did having never made a finals shows what the media thinks of him as a player.

The only player in the four major NA sports to win three consecutive MVPs without having already won a championship is Wayne Gretzky who was an obvious outlier in many ways. It really would have been something totally out of the ordinary to give the MVP to Jokic again even though he’s clearly the best player in the game.

Because the same people who demand that politics stay out of entertainment felt the need to interject it into everything and the mods around here loosened up significantly on that type of thing.
Politics and religion used to be a big no no around here and it was pretty much quarantined exclusively to PT. Now? No one who can do anything about it really gives a frick.

It has really set the whole site back. Esp the o-t and the msb. It’s great to have a voice on topics without all the PT….
