Alex is hilarious and has a great perspective on baseball, I could easily see him becoming a coach after his playing career is over.

He's one of 4-5 players who have said this is the most fun they've ever had playing baseball. And he & the others have not tied it exclusively to winning, it's just a special group of teammates.

I'm beginning to think he's there as the lightning rod. He absorbs all the criticism so none of the other flaws of the show get any attention.

Maybe still injured a bit, but I thought he was close to back a week or two ago.
Maybe more likely, with Milazzo hitting well and playing good defense and Travinsky hitting big arse bombs, Neal is on the bench. It is kind of weird with how much baseball Neal played earlier this season not to get some time in the lineup again unless he is still hurt.
