Bloomberg: https://archive.is/lKp3J

Love to see the economy booming like this! Good times ahead!

quote:

The economy has expanded by more than $4.4 trillion in the first two years under Biden, about the same as the previous nine years combined.

quote:

For all that, the labor market is the real star. No president since Lyndon Johnson can match Biden's record here. He has created the equivalent of six times more jobs than the last three Republican presidents combined.

quote:

Consider that unemployment is at all-time lows in 24 states and less than 3% in 21, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The unemployment rate for Blacks has never been lower, nor has the gap with the overall jobless rate been narrower.

Serious gaslighting seeing as how we already had a recession in the past year and there's and endless stream of major emoyees announcing job cuts.

Now is the time to BUY, when the general public is being fed the hook-line-and-sinker about the looming recession. Been looming for years at this point. The big tech cuts make news, but they're tiny in comparison to the overall tech workforce and huge hiring that took place over past few years.

The framing of the article is absurd - like, giving a politician credit for "creating jobs" that had been removed by government fiat in the prior years to begin with.

I think it's stupid to credit ANY politician with economic performance of the entire economy.

But what is fair to say is that we just had a GDP print just north of 1% REAL (so more like 4-7% nominal). That is nothing to sneeze at given all the hyperventilating about how bad everything is.

Its almost like certain groups stand to benefit from or are betting on doom-and-gloom.

The people selling to the doomsday Preppers, the Bitcoiners, the Glen Beck gold sellers....reminds me of The Late Great Planet Earth.

This is very well done propaganda the average American will believe this even if they know their own economic situation has been rough.

The jobs data refutes itself and you’re actually brain dead if you think Biden’s admin has “created jobs”.

Government spending accounted for 25% of GDP in 2022… you can’t blame Covid anymore.

My Company (Major player in Tools) just laid off 1/3 of their American employees last Friday. About 230 jobs. They also lowered sales forecasts by 20% this year.

I’m definitely voting for Biden again! All you have to do is press “trump” on the dominion machine and it casts your vote for Biden

The 7 and 8% inflation rate is an extremely coercive regressive tax, but Biden's cheerleaders will say it is an accomplishment.

Homelessness has increased dramatically (thanks, fentanyl), but the homeless aren't counted in the Unemployment numbers since they have "dropped out" of the job market. Strange coincidence that we seem to have lots of job openings, low Unemployment yet ever-higher homelessness...

Yeah the economy is so strong that we can't even start repayments for student loans. Right?
