JJ can’t make a decision on the roles so it’s gonna be a revolving door all year.

No one knows.

We've yet to find a bullpen guy who is just consistently nails.

It’s not that he can’t make a decision. It’s that no one has not shite the bed in that position yet.

Little can give u that killer couple innings. He did today then imploded in the 4th. Collins seems to be getting outs now when needed, Guidry can put people down but today he gifted them a run with one bunt on 12 pitches or so.
No Rezzelman or Gervase this year. We lost both those type guys in one week. We will be biting our finger nails off at the end of big games this year. I’ve already prepared myself.

Hold please……so the question is where is our lights out, strike throwing, swing and miss closer? Developing. That guy isn’t on the team right now. Guidry, Herring, Collins, Auk, and possibly Dutton are all in the mix. Money pitched well last night….at least no HRs.

Nobody stays in their pen role long enough to know if they can do the job or not. Shuffling guys every time they have a good or bad inning is indecisive.

Man imagine if Johnson was worth a shite. We could probably win every series and be number 1 in the country

I’m not bashing the coach idiot, I’m just saying he hasn’t decided where everyone belongs yet.

Guidry is your reliever
Collins is your closer

You said “he can’t make a decision”.

You frequently take little shots at Jay. Not sure why you do that

I think this is the best time to do that, especially with the injuries and early heavy SEC schedule. Seeing who steps up is very important to learn for post-season.

I think over the last half of SEC ball, CJJ will continue to experiment and get guys work, but then also settle down on who he can trust. JMO.

Could Coleman be that type of dude for us upon his return if all goes well?

I think you’re right. The 3rd starter issue is the lynch pen. Little and Hurd have pretty much proven they’re 1 or 2 inning guys. Gotta look elsewhere for that 3rd guy and fit those 2 into the pen so he can stabilize it more.

So Jay is justified in the “revolving door”?

See that would be the accurate take. He has not settled on a guy bc nobody has seized their opportunities and he’s been forced to move guys around due to injuries and others simply not being consistently reliable.

It’s not that he’s “indecisive”

1 game does not define a role. It's open tryouts right now. But my money is on Ackenhausen

Coleman was in-game bullpen warming up last two games if I'm correct.

Little and Hurd have been disappointments to date. Not sure how to say that nice.

If we could get both to come around and Ty Floyd hitting the zone, we'd be in much better shape. Actually, great shape. That's really the issue now.
