I'm tired of hand pump sprayers and looking to see what yall think about backpack sprayers for weed treatment.
Secondary question: can the same sprayer be used with insect home defense sprayer? I'm assuming so as long as each product has been thoroughly flushed out of the sprayer.

I bought one from harbor freight last year. No complaints. I use it for weed control. Have separate pump sprayers for roundup, neem oil, root stim/miracle gro bc they are for smaller applications

I use Solo sprayers (backpack & hand pump) - replacement parts are avaiable if something breaks. I personally prefer to use separate sprayers for herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. Easier that way for me.

Same. I also write the mix ratio for the chemical in sharpie on the sprayer so I’m not constantly looking it up.

I just ordered one and it came in on Thursday. I can't wait to spray and not be pumping the whole time. I hate pump sprayers. There's also a dude on eBay that sells 3D printed wall amounted holders for the DeWalt so you hang the sprayer and wand on the wall.

Got a 40 Volt Ryobi 4 gallon tank. Love it. Works well and uses very little battery power. I would buy again.

I’ve changed over the years but I use a 4 gallon solo backpack for pest control because I use more product than other apps. Two 2 gallon Chapin handcans for herbicide and fungicide.

I use the 18v ryobi. I purchased this one bc I already had several ryboi 18v tools so it was a no brainer. I use it one my acre yard for 6-7 yrs now. Just empty the container between different chemicals

I purchased a my 4 sons unit. Blemished unit knocks some money off. Great unit, they make them with any major tool Lithium battery connector. I got a dewalt battery adapter. It shoots very far, 4 gallon capacity and high psi pump. Put out two full coverage apps 30k yard, one 4ah battery still at full 3 bars. Also used it to shoot soap cleaner 25ft up onto the siding to clean my house! Nice straps and feels balanced when full.

I have the Ryobi 2gal coming this week. Already in the Ryobi ecosystem for several tools so it makes sense for me. Looking forward to getting it instead of lugging around and pumping.

Second,
“Ryobi 40 v sprayer”
Especially if you own that system already.

Ryobi makes a sling that turns the 2gal into a backpack

We've got EGO and Craftsman. Started with these about 3/4 years ago, but sadly neither have a spraying item that we're looking for.
May consider Ryobi just in case one of our tools goes bad, because I've been noticing their products have improved over the years.

I run Flowzone Typhoon 2.5 which is a 4 gallon sprayer. I'm more on the commercial side though. I have one set up tree and shrub soil injections, and the others 2 are 4 using around the resort for what ever comes up

4 gallon SOLO piston with adjustable pressure regulator.
I have a 5 gallon diaphragm sprayer too, I’ve replaced the diaphragm 3 times in 14 yrs.
The 4 gallon piston I have is without the regulator but it’s primary job is basal bark work.
SOLO are available at Home Depot now.
