Two bad ones. But other than that solid

I’ll admit I didn’t think he could do it.

The two against UT should Have been passed balls if there were not
Posted on 4/4/23 at 9:06 pm to LSUGrad2005
Not sure where the 1 came from, pretty sure it wasn’t UT game but I could be wrong
Doesn’t take away from how well he’s doing at the plate though

Those passed balls were so out of character for him and were decent pitches. I wonder if the injury to the pitcher had anything to do with it. Like the velocity or spin was so off it threw him off trying to catch it.

He hasn’t been hitting against top line pitchers.

He used to not hit vs any pitchers. It's significant progress for him

First one against UT was a passed ball. Second one was 100% on Ackenhausen for the limp wristed throw

No one does, except Crews.

And he still doesn’t look as good as brady neal at the plate. Sometimes you have to use your eyes in baseball not the stat book

He does look a lot better and more comfortable at the plate.
I like the way Johnson is using both catchers this season.

No screw all that. Y’all said he’d never hit close to .250.
