re: The “You can’t see me” gesture is no worse than doing a horns down or gator chomp

There are some LSU fans on this LSU board that are genuinely bummed that Clark lost. shite is hysterical.

I get it, Clark talks trash. So did burrow. Etc. Etc. I'd still rather my young kids see them shake hands with opponents.
First and foremost these are NOT little kids. Go to a freaking youth baseball tournament today with the walk up music and dancing and tell me where “that’s good sportsmanship” by your definition.
These are grown arse men and women. Angel is 20 freaking years old - not 6. She is also a strong minded business woman with an incredibly strong personality. She isn’t a thug but listened to it all season from many many people giving her, her team and most importantly her coach Mulkey shite on social media. That gesture was at all the people that doubted her, her team and her coach.
I’ll say it as I did in another thread. It is obvious the difference is she is a black woman and Burrow a white man on how people responded. That’s it. Where were your posts when Burrow did it all year? People like you supported Burrow by saying he is confident and not cocky - still do.
Big Dick Joe was his nickname because he swings a dick on people during games. Crickets on him “taunting” as you say.
Hell, where were / are your posts condemning Clark?
In my opinion those talking shite about Angel is evidence of a bigger deep seated hatred for her representing the cultural changes we have experienced the last few years. .

The ones talking shite are the same ones that need to leave the Tiger fan base and take up ULL colors. They can all EAD. Some LSU fans can never just be happy they won a damn Natty. Something Shaq, Pistol, Seimone, Petit never came close to.

For me it was more shouting "ho" at her as she did it. I guess people can't grasp that that's not the same

And she hardly ran down and got in Clark's face. She did it from about 10 feet away.
Is this your way for telling us you didn’t watch the game without saying you didn’t watch the game?

She did it to van lith. She was walking at her doing it. Just because it’s not in the same camera shot, doesn’t mean it wasn’t going on. You can clearly see van lith walk in front of her towards the end of her clip. Support the tigers and go ride the fence somewhere else

If Clark was pointedly taunting an individual LSU player then she deserved it, otherwise it was bad sportsmanship.
So what you're saying is that you didn't watch the game.

Taints the entire moment of the Natty. What a crappy set of priorities. Utterly classless.
Let's take the gloves off for a minute: had Clark been black and made the same gesture to a caucasian girl from SC, the silence from Reese and Morris would have been deafening. I was born at night - but not last night. Stop blowing smoke up my arse.

Look none of us are out there competing so we have no clue what is being said or what emotions are taking place. There were reports of UT cutting off the A/C in LSU’s locker room and we know for a fact they put the band in the upper deck so good for Burrow. As far as this game went I’m sure ole girl gave some jabs after making some of the goals she made. I know there center is one rough MFer so like some of the other posters have said it is competition so bring it and when it is your time to take it, don’t complain!

Taints it. Nobody cares about your feelings. It don’t taint shite. Y’all need to get over yourselves. The team isn’t apologizing bc they hurt your feelings. They’re hoisting trophies and designing rings. Either support them or run along to the little cult down the road that would gladly accept you.

Where do you see anything about calling her that?
Posted on 4/3/23 at 7:53 am to DownSouthCrawfish
quote:again - during the game vs. chasing them around afterwards to rub their nose in it.
When she waved off their guard and while giving a you can’t shoot shite look? No one cared about that.
The free throw line thing was fine - awesome even.
Chasing her around afterwards looks like shite.
So far no one from LSU has said anything that Clark did or said specifically to LSU to warrant chasing her around after the game to taunt her over the loss. How is what Clark did or said to Louisville and South Carolina relevant?

Again, it’s not the gesture that some folks were upset over, rather the timing and the way it appeared Davis sought out the Clark girl.
This entire argument has been confusing….now I don’t even know the participants. Who is Davis?

I don't think it's been confirmed anywhere, but in the slow motion video, it looks like that's what she said.

I’m not okay with Reese getting in her opponent’s face after the win. I’m also not okay with Burrow’s antics. It’s the opposite of classy and good sportsmanship. Talking smack can be fun before a game, but once the competition is over, it is just petty and classless. We teach our kids to be classy after wins. If you can’t say, or do something nice, then don’t do anything at all. That ugly behavior is accepted by much of society, and I think we’re worse for it. I teach my teams to give their all, and we win a lot, but afterwards I want them to congratulate their opponents for their effort or anything else that doesn’t rub the wound more. It didn’t make me proud to see her rubbing it in.

Buddy- I literally said Burrow and Clark were shite talkers and that I thought it doesn't look good for my kids who are growing up.
So even though you clearly didn't read my post based on your rambling answer, here is mine:
Just because people or "society" (youth sports in your example) doesn't attempt to practice good sportsmanship, doesn't mean I must personally believe it is acceptable. Or that I shouldn't hold my kids to a higher standard.

Where does it say Burrow or Clark?
these are not kids as I stated, Buddy. Don’t let your kids be pussies. Don’t give the little frickers participation trophies.
Beat their asses when they screwed up. Don’t spare them discipline.
And let them have fun.

Pretty obvious she did
