Gotta have your best performance on the biggest stage and we did. If we shot with any semblance of what we did today, all season, we would have been unbeaten. Great performance today.

Shout out to Emily Ward. Stuck with this team for 4 years. Happy with the role she had and never complained. This game was worth the wait!

DALLAS -- LSU guard Alexis Morris said Saturday she thought it was "disrespectful" the way the Iowa Hawkeyes dared the South Carolina guards to make their shots in Iowa's Final Four victory, saying the Hawkeyes would have to play the Tigers differently in the national championship game.

Many of us were saying the Sweet Sixteen was the goal, but these seniors weren’t settling for waving good-bye after the Sweet Sixteen and returning next year to watch a NC from the stands.
Congratulations to these seniors. Alexis is Alexis, LaDaziah is a quiet leader and a force underneath, Jasmine went off big her last game and those three transferred in and won a natty. Emily of course did not play but she was part of things and a real contributor to this team’s morale and momentum.
Congrats to these seniors for not settling! There will be other NC’s for Kim and LSU in the future but these seniors got one of their own!
