What exactly do we hope to accomplish by staying in the middle east?
Remain cannon fodder? Spend more trillions? Make certain all the middle east hates us and then we give them papers to enter the US?

This is a situation where massive retaliation should be the flavor of the day. Hitting a wearhouse within Syria doesn't hurt Iran - destroy something of value within their country might deliver the appropriate message.
