Just do the opposite of what they did in the last three and also a good bit different than the prequels.

in their minds, destroying everything that SW was wasnt the issue, it was the fans fault

Yuuzhan Vong shite was so weird. Didn’t feel like Star Wars to me when I read that stuff as a kid. I’d like to see an R rated Vader movie in his early days when he’s hunting down the remaining Jedi. However I do feel like as far as main movie characters go, the well is running dry.

The problem was different writers, and the one in the middle punting what storyline had already been set up, then having his shite punted again.

Never the less, director is synonymous with writer when it comes to the sequel trilogy.
