Did making The Matrix mentally break the Wachowski brothers?

In many ways, the movie The Matrix is spot on correct. What we perceive is the 'real' world is little more than a cardboard prop on a large stage. For the illusion to work, we all must believe what we're seeing is real.
Since the movie came out, both brothers 'transitioned', and tried to redefine what the terms 'red pill/blue pill' mean. They even tried to retcon their own story with the last Matrix movie, but to disastrous results.
Seems like there might be some guilt on their part for unintentionally(?) pulling back the curtain and revealing the ugly truth. Transitioning seems to be some form of penance for these 2.

Could just be all the drugs and adventures they got into after that franchise exploded. That usually doesn't end too well if you have some personal demons.

Is this true? I know nothing about who made the Matrix, I only watched it one time when it first came out, but two brothers ended up claiming to be trans? The odds of siblings being trans is very unlikely so I would have to think there is something going on there.

Did anyone really see the last Matrix (Resurrections) movie? I didn't but saw and read enough reviews to see that it was garbage. Even before the movie came out, (one or both, don't care which) tried to reclaim the concept of 'red pilling' as it has taken on a vastly conservative slant on viewing the world.
In short, seeing the world as it really is makes one red pilled. Thus a conservative.
So when that didn't work, they tried to just rewrite the whole damn thing with the last movie. It failed. Bigly.

You can try and "see" the 3rd act, but trying to understand the stupid movie is on another level.

Haven’t they explained the movie in the context of being trans? Accept it with the red pill and live a “tough but true” life, or take the blue pill and go along with life with relative ease?
