The fed just turned the printer on

But don’t worry they said it’s definitely 100% not a bail-out

IMO, the market is believing the FED will stop rate hikes for the time being.

Feds decided to have the taxpayers make SVB depositors whole. For now the contagion risk is put off, but it’s a Ponzi scheme that will eventually be too big for the Feds to print to bail.

The equity markets could rally, especially if CPI keeps dropping and the bank scare slows the rate hike down.

The exact opposite... Taxpayers aren't paying for anything. They have said as much.

The three banks that have failed are pretty centralized to one industry.

And you believe them. If taxpayers aren’t on the hook guess the alternative…..they’re turning on the printing press diluting our $ and driving up inflation. We’re paying either way.

Wrong.

SVB is getting bought in the morning by a major. It’s a no brainer. The deal might even be finalized tonight.

SVB’s investments weren’t even risky. The bank was just severely over leveraged. It’s was simply piss poor management/arrogance, and the bank run bit them.

This is the easiest decision ever for JPM or HSBC.

No instead they said it’d be paid for by a special assessment on banks which definitely means the banks won’t pass down the costs…
