Do you baws drink straight from your tap, or do you use filters or buy bottled water?

Personally, I filter my water with gravity filters but have thought about reverse osmosis. I am not a bottled water guy because I feel all that plastic is pretty wasteful. Plus I feel like bottled water is a scam and I don't want to give those companies any money.

Water in the U.S. is safe, and there's really no reason to filter. I just do it to get the chlorine taste out of it more than anything. Plus you never know if there's lead pipes anywhere in between you and the treatment plant. From my understanding, some of the lead pipes are so old that many cities don't even know where they all are.

Yes. Unless you live in Flint or something like that there’s no reason not to. And bottled water is incredibly damaging to the environment

Hell, I plumbed in a three foot section of garden hose just before my kitchen sink just to get that taste of childhood.

BR has excellent tap water. It's indistinguishable from bottled water to me. One of this place's few redeeming qualities

Do You Drink Tap Water?

Since the late 1960’s. I do pick and choose where I drink it from. Most public places, hell naw… most homes (again, depending on location) yes.

Literally throughout the entire 1900’s I drank from a garden hose if I was thirsty.

I'd rather drink Baton Rouge water from the toilet before I'd drink New Orleans water from the tap.

Yes. I have a filtration setup and a chiller with a dedicated faucet.
