Not a definite but all I’m saying is something is brewing there. I’ll leave it at that.

He’s been offered the job. I do agree the SEC will probably prevent that.

I think the SEC would prevent this for a few more years.

Link?

ETA: Everything I see online is more about whether Beard is a hirable option. Some of the comments almost make it seem like Ole Miss might even consider their interim, Win Case, because of his recruiting. Yes, his name is Win Case

Amazing that Alabama’s AD allows their coach to keep a Star player who may be an accomplice to murder on the team. Our AD gets rid of Wade , for what? To satisfy a bald headed hack named Dick and I wouldn’t be surprised if Dale Brown didn’t have some say so in Wil being fired

Personally I hope he takes the OM gig and wins a NC there, while we're all over here looking at Scott like "the frick is this?!"

Men's basketball is vitally important and we treat it like it's some kind of fricking lagniappe. I guess it's time for LSU to learn a painful lesson. Again.

It definitely is NOT a strong possibility, at least within the next 5 years.

That said, if by some magic potion that's offered to the SEC brass that enables them to relent, Wade could turn that team into a dynastic powerhouse.

Now that schools are allowed to pay players, he won’t be successful. And those 5*s won’t be going to ole miss. And he can’t coach.

I saw earlier today on the SECRant that Pitino might be in play at Ole Miss.
