Will Wade's Hearing Date

CWW's hearing will be either late this week or early next week. He will not be receiving a show cause. Attached is a link to my previous post about it if anyone cares to go back and see how Scott single handedly destroyed what CWW was building. I'm not sure if LSU's hearing is same date as CWW's but LSU will also not be receiving near the sanctions people claim will happen (no where near worst case scenario). So thanks Scott!

So when do we get to rehire him?

A decision that will haunt LSU basketball for the next 10 years. We will miss you, General!

Would that be the same IF LSU had kept WW?

Prayers to my General.
Thank you for putting LSU on the map again only for McWasteland to suck all the energy out of the program and fanbase

I read your previous posts, so are you 100% sure no show cause, ban from coaching in NCAA for any period of time? Just asking

A lot of people are going to be understandably frustrated, but something we will never know is what outcome would have happened if LSU retained Wade.
That is all distraction. The key question is could there be a universe in which LSU hires Wade back? Talk about a shot in the arse to the program that would be. Timing constraints aside, I get the sense Wade would entertain it, but the question would be whether Woodward would?
eta. selfishly, the best thing timing wise would be for him to get a one year show cause so that McMahon could be given the good faith second year, after which Wade could be hired back unless significant improvements are made.

This was all brokered by the NCAA, LSU and Wade when Wade was first suspended and missed the NCAA tourney back in the SEC championship season.
Wade lawyered up, got reinstated and NCAA and LSU agreed that any notice of allegations with level 1 or 2 would get Wade fired and Wade's lawyer agreed not to go after LSU or NCAA.
The football deal is what pressed LSU's hand in all of this.
LSU had to sacrifice Wade and NCAA got their man from the FBI scandal.
To pacify Wade and cover for all the other coaches from being exposed, Wade agreed to his firing and will be back in the game but likely at a lower tier school initially before another Power 5 comes calling.

The only thing remotely close to correct in this statement is Wade's contract was amended to state LSU could fire him for cause if there were level 1 or 2 violations. Nothing else is true, Scott fired Wade over the phone while Wade was driving home from practice with no prior warning or anything.

Don't tell me every other major program wasn't doing it. Wade made the mistake of getting caught of getting caught on tape.

Firing went down wrong and was EXTREMELY petty! Had Woody maned up and figured out a way to keep Wade all (AND I DO MEAN ALL MENS AND WOMANS) teams/programs would be firing on all cylinders and would always be in the mix for Natty’s over the next few/many years. That being said he needs to fix the men’s hoops team ASAP! We can’t be last in that, cmon man…..

Let’s go back and rehire Wade after he spends 2-3 years at a mid-major.

The wiretap by itself might have been very difficult to make a case on.
