Derek Carr is visiting the saints tomorrow.

I like Derek Carr and think he could maybe be a slight upgrade from the Red Rifle, but not what it would cost the Saints to trade for him. Let him get cut then try to get him on the cheap.

Carr won't win us a Superbowl but he's a big upgrade from Dalton. Dalton averaged 205 yds ppg this season. Unless your QB is supplementing a number that low with some rushing yards, obviously he wasn't, you can't win that way in the NFL.

If he signs an extension worth 40 mil over 3 years to bring the average to 20 per year it could work for both sides.
