ESPN Woke BS
So let me get this straight.....58% of the NFL players are Black. Owners are spending hundreds of millions of dollars every year to field a winning team. But at the same time we have a race problem in the NFL, because, despite those two facts, owners arent hiring black coaches because of racism? Cmon man!
When are going to realize that this woke bs is never going to stop? It always starts out as some small thing that just grows and grows and grows. These woke idiots are never going to be happy....

Would love to see the whole sporting industry collapse to nothing.
Honestly. I don't need that source of entertainment.

Eh, if the NFL went away tomorrow the world would be a better place…

6.5% (black men) want to control 100% of the NFL.

Trans coaches lack representation as well.

Ask those black NFL coaches if they think there’s a problem. They’ll shut down that conversation REAL quick.

So it's a white guilt article designed to defend the SJW owner for choosing a white head coach over a black one.

Anything that comes from ESPN is stupid...
On a scale from 10 to stupid, I vote stupid...

I only keep up with college and black head coaches have not done well with average W-L records. And it's very hard to fire them when they fail.
ULL hired their first black coach years ago and he went 1-9 every year till they fired him. He sued for racial discrimination and the case dragged out forever till the college paid him a lump so he'd just go away.

The NFL is going to have to get more white players on the field.
They have these silly little slogans painted all over their fields like "stop racism" and "it takes all of us", but they're not following their own advice.
There's no reason the player racial make-up isn't 65-70% white.

But only 12% of the population is. Sounds like the disparity begins here.
Can’t address one without addressing the other.

Correct.
However, I predict that it will metastasize like a cancer that destroys the host. It ends with systematic Government expropriation of private property, without compensation, from disfavored Political Classes, to the Government, for the purpose of re-distribution to favored Political Classes.

32 teams. 4 Black coaches. So there is a 12.5% representation among NFL HC's vs a 12.1 representation in the population.
The larger question is why does the league racially discriminate against White, Asian, Hispanic, and Native Americans?

I stopped caring about the NFL a couple years after the Saints won the SB because i got annoyed seeing more and more woke bullshite from them. I stopped caring about college football after LSU beat Clemson for the NC and then just months later lit up the stadium for Saint Floyd of Fentanyl and announced their support for the BLM bullshite. I stopped caring about ESPN somewhere in-between the time I gave up NFL and NCAAF because they were obviously systematically becoming just another woke network in the machine to "fundamentally transform America" through programming, gaslighting and indoctrination.
Any of you still giving your time, money and support to these entities, are feeding the monster. If you believe in freedom and liberty, there's no reason you should be emotionally and monetarily supportive of these organizations that are actively working to fully destroy everything you hold dear.
I mean, I ate, slept, dreamed and bled LSU football for three decades, but in spite of my nearly religious support of the program, it was really easy to completely walk away when i realized they had walked away from me. At this point, I've learned how to live without basing half of my weekends every year around football and I'm honestly better for it. There's nothing they can do at all now, to ever win me back.
I say again to be very clear, MY LIFE IS BETTER without following and supporting organizations that hate me. For those of you still on the fence, give it a try.

My miserable team just made a new hire.
Unfortunately it wasn’t a new owner tho.
We’re good ‘n’ shite … in the woke coaching department anyway.

Tony Dungy is the most successful black football coach in the NFL. Tony Dungy is never mentioned and is hated and attacked by the left because he's a Conservative Christian. ESPN doesn't care about race. They just want to make sure there is a black guy as a head coach they can control. You know, kind of like when the Democrats used slavery to control a certain group of people.

I have a close friend that was an NFL head coach and career NFL guy (player & coach) to this day. He is among the group of Black men to reach that level in the league.
We discussed potential racism in the NFL hierarchy in detail a few years prior to him becoming a head coach. He is what I would consider "color blind" as I never witnessed any characteristics or practices that reflected the color of a persons skin influencing him.
The cliff's:
- Some old school owners or GM's were certainly never going to hire any Black man at the HC or executive level. Those types of individuals are outliers at this point of the game.
-Some current leaders are "shy" or slow to high level minority hiring, IOW a minority candidate would have to be the perfect candidate to get a realistic look.
-Majority of NFL leadership wants to win, period.. the color of your skin is not a factor.
-Majority of entry level/position coaching candidates are Caucasian.. the funnel lends itself to the known results.
-Minority NFL position coaches are inadequately prepared nor modify to meet the administrative skills sets required to advance up the ladder and potentially gain head coaching opportunities.
-There will be a higher balance of minorities in leadership positions in the NFL over time and for the right reasons.
