Very cool. That's all I wanted to know.

bullshite you're crawfishing.

If you cared about "tradition" you'd already know what the band meant to those special games in LSU history like Shaq v Laetner, run to the 81 final four, Dale's battles with Kentucky, Stromile/Jabari year, etc.

I mean if you care about tradition you know tradition.

How am I supposed to "know tradition" when I wasn't alive in the 80s and 90s. It's literally why I asked the question. And wanting a DJ and a new age basketball environment doesn't mean you have to get rid of tradition.

Band would probably get to play more of the “current” music if every song wasn’t necked immediately

Literally asking about the tradition of LSU and your response is to basically just call me dumb for not being 40 years old. My bad I guess

Explains a lot, and I can’t blame you just for being young, but spend some time learning some LSU history. Watch old games and interviews, read some articles, develop some passion for the school if you call yourself a fan (not saying you’re not).

…and the idea that LSU still has a band and other big schools have moved on just to DJ’s is just factually incorrect. So watch some other teams play too while you’re at it.

Relax-it’s a joke. Saying “you suck” is not something someone my age would say if I really wanted to insult you.

Yeah they do. They are stupid. That’s why they go to school. To learn. That’s why they start at entry jobs. The only people who don’t know this are the aforementioned young people. We were all there once.

As to the band and neck. It’s just embarrassing at this point. Yeah I know get off my lawn. Yada yada. I’m just kinda bored with it now. Like don’t you students want to come up with your own thing? How long are we gonna hold on to pissing off blue hairs with STTDB?

Btw I give the band director at the game last night credit. He tried.

The students got the first STTDB in on some other song as they were coming out of break and it went as you would expect.

But the second time he was on it. He saw the hands going up and down, read the room and right as they got to it, he had the band jump directly into the fight song. I guess just trying to drown it out. Props to you dude.

I love the LSU band. But does the brass band really need to be in the PMAC? All they do is play over the PA system and blare Tiger Rag over and over. LSU needs to get a DJ like every other basketball program in America. (Better than the old one they had a few years ago)
Band kinda kills the student section atmosphere.
of all the stupid shite on this board...

I’m 39, chief.

And do you just cease to learn when you get to a certain age? You didn’t learn anything new recently? Because if you did, then by your definition you’re stupid.

Wasn't his name like "DJ Trail-Mix" or something like that?

I was in the Court Jesters from ‘74-‘’79 starting in my soph year in high school when Dr Roberts needed bodies. One night there was only five of us.

You damn right it’s a tradition. Don’t mess with it.

Not to pick a fight. But my man, reading comprehension. Use it. No where did I mention anything about not learning even as an older person. I learn all the time. Doesn’t mean anything having to do with young people. They are young and dumb.
And secondly your logic is flawed. I can have learned as a young person and subsequently not have learned anything new recently and still be rather intelligent in general this is why you don’t see older people in school anymore.

But you do you man
