CFB26 was right all along

He could, but based on the success of defense under Baker, I would like him to keep focusing primarily on the corners. He was the CB coach under Baker and we had a separate safeties coach.

Whoever it is is likely to be a LB coach as we are retaining Raymond and hiring a DL coach

Hard to accomplish when we have had a new DL coach every year for the last 7 or 8 years and will have another new coach next year if rumors on Williams are true. We need a coach that will be here for a few years to recruit and develop their guys.

I would think most of the time they can read the room and understand it based on recent success, ranking, etc. But once the money comes in, it is hard to have any negative feelings if it is a job you want.
