The lefties still go by the “one drop rule”

“Besides, there are two Black quarterbacks in the Super Bowl,” Williams said. “Either way, I can’t lose.”

Not sure if that proves your point, but I’ll concede. You did your research and dug deep into my history.
Actually it does.
"dug deep" lol. all it took was looking for a topic title that didn't have to do with Football

Should it really matter?
Noticing someone’s race in every scenario should be what makes someone a racist.

Jalen Hurts gives me vibes of someone who don't give a flying frick about skin color.
Neither does Patrick Mahomes, but Doug Williams is a big racist and has been his entire life. I remember him bitching about the Bayou Classic having two white starting quarterbacks when Marcus Jacoby played for Southern and some other white kid was the starter for Grambling.

Wtf is Doug Williams?
At first I was like how does someone on an LSU site not know who Doug Williams is. Then I saw you were an Alabama fan.
FWIW, Doug Williams is from right outside of Baton Rouge, LA. He also coached at his local high school alma mater back in the day.

Mahomes is a white QB in my book

The OP is a humongous hint to his claim to fame
So I'm supposed to know him because he's black? No thanks

One african american and one half and half. Doug Williams
shows people who the real racists are.A white man gets
fired if he says he`s happy that the SB had 2 white QBs.
Hyprocricy reigns supreme in this once great country.

Eta: thats a funny thought actually, “Why are you rooting for Joe Burrow and the Bengals to win today?”
Because he's a Yankee and plays for a team from north of the Mason Dixson Line
If you're looking for a marginally acceptable reason.

There's 1 black QB(who still probably has white in him) and one AT LEAST half white(but probably greater than 50% white) QB starting.
Quirks of melanin in genetic expression doesn't change that.

Speaking of Doug Williams, his wiki has everything I remembered about him and things I never knew.
His time with Tampa I didn't know or remember and I'd expect the salary disparity still rankles him and was the reason he sat out a year when renegotiations failed to happen.
And the wiki includes a first game (now long forgotten) when he was one of the two players to be in the first NFL game to have two black quarterbacks playing against each other
His wiki shows he's had a lot more post NFL gamedays career than many, many other quarterbacks of any color. (I'm thinking of the native American who played at (?) Stanford among many others.

Do you honestly believe that owners have actively kept black quarterbacks from succeeding because they’re racist old white men? (These are the same owners who’s rosters are all 70% black by the way.)
