Dangerous era but you had such great personalities like Stewart, Fittipaldi, Rindt, Hill, Hunt, Laura, etc. I’m trying to get more into the modern product but it’s hard.
The danger made it more interesting.

Why are you tripping over Ricky Stenhouse winning a race in 2017? I made a clear statement. And you ask a question and come up with some bullshite about me not answering it.
What is this shite? Are you Dim?

Was really hoping Busch could pull of the miracle win and get his first Daytona victory. Pretty solid effort regardless.

Are you new to sports?
Football does this all the time when games run right into scheduled programming.

NASCAR is let’s see how many restarts we can get to muck up every race

Me too. I got a big kick out of that when I got my 23 and Me results back.

For all the consternation over the finish this race had 52 lead changes between 21 cars. That is the 3rd most in the history of the 500.

Blame the Junior fans who showed their arses and threw stuff on the track when a race at Talladega ended in a caution with him in second place. Instead of having people arrested NASCAR kowtowed and started this mess to “guarantee fans a green flag finish” when the only thing a ticket should guarantee you is a few hours of diversion and entertainment and then you go get in your car and go home.

Good point but how many of those changes were the leader of one lane nosing out the leader of the other lane rather than actual passes for the lead like you used to have at the best Talladega races. (Like second race in 1978, which was fantastic.)

And we only saw like 20 due to commercials.
If I paid $10m plus to put my company name on a nascar I’d be pissed that commercials got more air time over my car. And cheaper.

Fair point but that is still a lot of lead changes.

Exactly. Or were during green flag runs by attrition as cars in lead pitted. Heck, Pastani even lead one lap by pitting later than everyone else.

That was a shitshow.
Those "fans" should of been banned for life and arrested but that was also during the abortion known as the Brian France era and he couldn't lead a bachelor party to a strip club.
Didn't Gordon win that race?

The Red Sea had a great number of people but they did have some bad apples in there.

Junior Nation. I was one of them but I was embarrassed for my fanbase that day.
