If we're using covidian math, if the linebacker took the covid vaccine, then of course this is a death due to vaccine.

If this story follows the typical pattern, it will later be revealed to be suicide or a drug OD or a chronic illness, and the frequent fliers in here will move on to the next day googling for more obits to confirm their fervid pseudoreligious beliefs.
