Literally can’t do anything on the court right now

He is the new Tyrese Maxey. His elite defensive is completely negated by his atrocious offense.

Herb isn’t that bad on offense. He just can’t shoot 3s. His drives aren’t bad

He’s Matisse thybulle 2.0 everyone raved about thybulle after his rookie year then he never developed any offense and can barely see the court for the sixers

If you can't shoot and are a wing, yes, you are that bad on offense.

His regression from the end of last season is pretty astounding/concerning. Not just the offense but the inability to D up without fouling

At least we didn’t give him a big contract

His drives aren’t bad
except we’re a team that needs spacing and he sits in the corner wide open 99% of the time

Plus he turns 25 before next season

Problem is, Trey isn't any better. He just stands in the corner while covered 90% of the time, never cutting or trying to move off-ball to get any space to shoot from.

He didn't even play in the 4th quarter. Atleast they trust Herb to defend, they don't trust Trey to do anything right now. If he's not hitting shots, he's a net negative.

Without question a rough rough game for Herb tonight.

But he’s shooting 52/36/72 from the floor this month, and that includes tonight’s clunker.

He's also shooting under 30% from three on the season. The vast majority of those wide open since teams know he sucks. He is a bad offensive player. Still offers solid D but is fouling way too much this year. Rough because I like him but he's hurting the team right now

Even when he moves, you have facilitators who don't get him the ball until it's either too late or ignore him completely.

Both Murphy and Herb need to be coming off the bench. Now and when Z comes back. Herb's shooting is killing our spacing. Missing wide open threes is frustrating for us to watch, just imagine how frustrating it is for the players. Trey can't make his mind up what he wants to be on a night to night basis.
Naji needs to be a starter the rest of the year. Let Jose, Larry, Herb and Trey come off the bench

I agree. I didn’t expect Naji to play better than Herb and Murphy this season tbh

I’m not worried about trey like some of y’all. He’s much younger than herb and has showed major improvement from last year. Does he have things to work on? Yeah. I can’t point to 1 thing herb has improved from last year

Been talking to my group chat about him. He has regressed in every facet of the game this year. He needs to be sent to the bench imo.

Trey shows flashes thay I like offensively and has improved finishing around the rim. I do think his teammates won’t pass to him when he’s open but he can be hesitant to shoot the 3 ball. I like his ceiling a lot more than herbs.

If Trey continues to get stronger and gain weight that’s gonna help him massively on both sides of the ball

Like I’m okay with keeping Herb if we want to but this season his 3 ball has regressed, he has zero midrange game still, free throws have gone down severely compared to last season, defense he’s still solid but not this all nba level guy. Creates turnovers but guys are still gonna score on him. Fouls a lot as well.

I do agree Naji should start. Really Naji or Trey just because of the spacing Trey can give offensively.
