If not, which city and why?

I've personally never seen a more poorly ran collective of insanity. I wouldn't count BR & Jackson bc they're just not major cities.

Runners up:

Detroit

Baltimore

I dunno. I was recently in Seattle and I think that place is worse in its own special way.

Tourism area vs outside of tourism area.
It's just like taking a trip to a Mexican resort.
Don't venture out of the resort.

It's Oakland, CA. What an absolute shiithole. The homelessness problems around Oakland push the levels of dysfunction to the top of this list.

I wouldn’t really call New Orleans a major city. Population isn’t that high relatively and it’s not some blooming business Mecca. It’s a crime ridden shite hole run by incompetent fricktards.

For those living in NOLA they believe it is but all Dem run cities are tied at #1 as most dysfunctional.

Neither is New Orleans. Population under 400k doesn't even crack the top 50 cities in the country. Wichita and Tulsa have more people than the city of NO. Only Orleans proper is completely dysfunctional. Neighboring parishes that make up the rest of the NOLA metro area have their shite together.

45 to 50 percent of the exports for the country leave out of the port. It's the smallest major city for that fact alone.

It's also majorly dysfunctional. And yes the crime and leadership are terrible.

Yeah, Oakland is a weird combination of West Coast problems and Deep South problems, all contained within tight geographical boundaries.

Imagine if Jackson MS and Portland OR got together and had a baby. That's Oakland.

I never understand why people say NOLA isn't a big city. There are over 100,000 cities and towns in the country and New Orleans is around number 50 in population. Of course it's a big city.

I’m not so sure. Teedy ran off a well established police Chief in Harrison that Baltimore hired.

There aren’t massive vehicle break ins at Ravens and Orioles games.

The city at least attempts to keep the culcha in check around the Inner Harbor and Fell’s Point. NOLA cedes the FQ and tourist areas to criminals.

There's levels of dysfunction.

Seattle in its own right is a terrible city currently but compared to NOLA I know I'll at least survive

Why can't people learn how to use "run" and "ran"?

I hate the city and wouldn’t cross the parish line if I didn’t have to, and it is run by a bunch of dumb fricks, but so is every other Democrat run American city.

However, some of y’all don’t know shite about the city, ya’ll just piss on it because the crime situation and what’s going on in politics.

I think what this is proving is that major cities have become havens for failures of government which is pushing many out who no longer want to be a part of the mess anymore.
Crime and poverty are rampant.
Poor police forces.
Government that is dysfunctional.
Policies that fail the people they claim to be helping.
All these cities are examples. Atlanta should not escape this list either.

New Orleans is actually not AT ALL like a Mexican resort because the tourist areas of New Orleans are actually extremely dangerous, and criminals purposely target tourists because it’s safer and more lucrative to go after them than the other locals. In most tourist cities, criminals are heavily punished for going after tourists, and tourist areas are patrolled and maintained at all costs. That is NOT the case in New Orleans.
