Yeah, I’m not sure what they want the initial statement from Tate to say. As far as blaming Reggie’s: they definitely need to shoulder some of the blame. If you’re Tate, you can influence Reggie’s being done away with. You aren’t going to stop hoodrat shite, but you can get rid of a place that enables it.

Yall are really focused on race. I mean people you have no connection/mutual friends with, didn't go to the same school, just met off the street and have no info about. Someone like her in her right mind would not have gotten in that car. She doesn't know them and she was by herself. It's very risky behavior and uncharacteristic.

I could see that happening in other situations with women of a different type of lifestyle, if there were drug or business transactions but not to someone like her. (I'm trying to express this delicately.)

My kids are young young but I can't send them in good faith to LSU unless there is some dramatic change in the next 16-17 years.

Everything in BR gets worse though so doubtful. UL-Lafayette isn't a premier school but it'll have to do for undergrad.

Reggie’s has been caught serving underage drinkers. Lack of due diligence or even ignoring the law completely, eventually leading to a death, is grounds for at least a civil suit.

Not directed at you, but newsflash people, people like this are at tigerland constantly. Im ashamed to say but I have been there quite a few times in my 30s. Basically dragged there because my service industry buddies got off of work hammered and thats the place they chose. The crowd there is awful. It looks like the 100 block of Bourbon or the Chris Owens club. This shite has been happening and the only reason this came to light is because the poor girl got hit by a car. The crowd in tigerland is completely flooded with ghetto arse thugs.

Take Mellow Mushroom for example. They turned open mic night into rap music night. I went there one night for trivia which was at 7pm. Open mic night was after. We stayed after trivia and I turned around at 9pm and it looked like I was in Club Dior from the pics. I went to the bathroom and came back to the bar. I told my gf I just walked past about 15 guys ages 18 to 35 and not one had a drink. All looked ghetto as shite. Theyre just there to fight or frick some sorority looking girl. Oh and guess what, they had a shooting and the place closed down.

Tigerland is a lost cause but this incident might be the hammer that shuts the bullshite down for awhile
