I remember a girl a few years ago getting kidnapped at gunpoint jogging the lakes and raped. She escaped the car on Government Street not far from where Allie Rice was killed. Jim and Lu's - ghetto corner store

This was in WBRZ article. This seems to me that either a. She couldn't even remember/communicate her home address at that point (too intoxicated to consent) or b. She did not have consensual sex and was not about to give a group of rapists her home address (to find her again later or endanger her roommates.)

I have a son at LSU and I doubt you’d feel differently.
My youngest daughter is around the same age as yours. She already knows LSU is not an option and likely won’t attend college in Louisiana at all.
Thankfully LSU and the Baton Rouge area were still fairly decent when my oldest daughter went.

I understand bad things can happen anywhere but they happen more often here. And not all colleges are in towns nearly as ghetto as BR. I've lived in this area for 43 of my 45 years. It's a different place now than it used to be unfortunately.

LSU is a little different. The north side(only 3 sides) of campus is a complete ghetto.
And the bar area is completely engulfed by a ghetto.

I feel so bad for the girl and her family. Please advise young women to make better choices on who they hang out with and who they flirt with and talk to at bars and who they get rides with and who they hang out with after going to bars. A girl not as wasted would not hang out with those men.

Good point. This is what I deduced from the arrest warrant (former prosecutor FWIW}:
- 1/15/23 0250 Madison killed
- 1/16/23EBPSO/LEO knew within 12 hours who she left with (at least the driver) through a bar receipts, bar surveillance video, and license plate readers [(note Carsen (sic?) was the driver and "showed up" to interview with detectives within 36 hrs.)]
