While LSU baseball is my favorite sport and I follow it more than 90% of you on this board I don't think people realize how damn good the league will be this year. I love the passion and excitement but damnit we are going to lose 10-15 games this year no matter how good you think we are going to be. The league is too stacked. I know in paper we are the preseason favorites but baseball is different. I think this team will be incredible but anyone thinking we roll straight to Omaha without some serious bumps along the way are just not realistic about much of anything. I will be disappointed if they don't get to Omaha this year more than most years. I had to post this bc I see way too many unrealistic expectations for this team.

other than sounding like a douche, you’re saying we win 73-82% at best?

LSU will be undefeated but it will still be boring on radio and TV.

OK Negatiger - There are no ebbs and flows in baseball that could impact this squad.

Seriously though, it would be really fun for the guys to hit that 30 or so game mark and have under 10 losses. Anything can happen after that.

I agree 100 ^. I’m all in on this years team, but baseball is a funny game. More than all other sports, the best team doesn’t always win. A lot of good fortune is required to make a run. I love this roster. Now let’s get results!!!
