MSY is the easiest large airport to depart

drive up the departures ramp and into the short term garage. Park and walk back down the ramp you took into the garage to curbside check in. Check bags, down one escalator to TSA and then to the gate
car to gate today was about 10 minutes

No way.
All that up and down ramps is a PITA.
AUS is similar in size and parking/drop off/check-in and security are all on the same level.

But I do agree, when parking at MSY it is an easy in and out. Now if you need a rental car, the whole thing goes up in flames.

That is not a definition of a large airport. But if all you fly is BTR and MSY then sure, it is the larger of the two.

Did you wake up this morning with ice cold takes on departing large airports.
MSY is a borderline large airport and far from being one of the best and easiest airports to depart from.
It may be the easiest that you experience but when the sample sizes you gave were BTR and LIT, it doesn't give much credibility to your argument

I do happen to like details, yes.
MSY is easy to depart. I agree on that fact. I also think we have different definitions of large airports, is all.

I will not argue size but everytime I fly into MSY, I cant believe how long it takes to get my luggage at baggage claim.
