All things held equal it’s hard to compare say McDonald’s and Arby’s, totally different fries, for straight cut fries when McDonald’s salts them correctly and they’re freshly hot and crunchy, hard to beat, curly fries probably goes to Arby’s. Five guys fries are good too seasoning wise but I like the texture of McDonald’s fries

Don’t sleep on Wendy’s reinvented fries either, they improved them this past year and they’re very good

They used to. Then around 1998 or so they changed, and they aren't as good now.

They are the same product, you can buy them in the frozen section at some grocery stores and both the Rally's is Checker's logo is on the bag

Wendy's is probably my favorite fast food place. I get the same exact thing every time I go there, and it's always pretty good. I get the double stack. When it's fresh, it's a great burger to me. Tastes like a truck stop burger kinda which I love the old truck stop burger places from my childhood.

A truck stop we used to eat at in Meridian, MS called Red Hot that was on Frontage Road. Long gone now, but I loved walking in to that place and sitting at the long bar.

Ahh memories.

I used to love the crinkle cut fries at Church's. The best fries I have ever eaten were crinkle cut cheese fries at Fred's in Tigerland. It could've been because it was usually at 1 am after being day drunk and not having eaten all day. Actually, it was definitely because of that.

As shitty as the place is overall, I'd have to go with McDonalds on the fries front.

Fast Track had awesome cajun fries back in the day. A large order of Fast Track cajun fries and a chocolate shake was the GOAT treat.

They also give you like 5 lbs of fries at Five Guys. Saw a video on the owners of 5 Guys and why they give you so many fries. It's a psychological thing. They figured if you gave the customer more fries than they can eat, they won't complain and come to the conclusion that they get their money's worth.

Taste just like the frozen curly fries from the grocery store. Not bad, but not great either.

Five Guy's cajun fries hands down.

If we aren't considering them fast food, then my vote goes to Milo's.

Medium fry from there is 450 calories.

Haven't had these until last week on a drunken door dash order I had forgotten about, they are legit. The seasoning they use is incredible

They aren't wrong, as long as the fries are at least decent. Five Guys is absurdly over priced, even with the amount of food you get. The model works though.

Back in my young drinking days, my thing to do was to go to Herbies or Waffle House and get a big plate of hash browns after going out. LOVE HASH BROWNS!!! Actually made some from frozen a couple of weekends ago. Love em.
