Brand new commercial for the new product line

Of course, the first few lines of the commercial are going to send the conversation down a certain road, but I just wonder how useful it could be?

Supposedly, they built a whole house, used the products, then flooded the outside to 3ft. You never believe everything you see on TV....or much of any of it, I guess. Maybe for smaller homes built on a simple floor plan it could be of some use, or some businesses.

I'm just curious what folks who have had to deal with floods think about it, and if you'd actually try it?

Reed Timmer is a believer in Flexseal products, but he's also sponsored by them. He's been hyping this launch for a while now.

I don't believe anything I see on TV and only about half of stuff I see in real life.

So keeps most of the water out while keeping all the water that gets in, in. Great invention.

1) you would need to seal every opening to the house. doors windows, brick weep holes

2) the house and all the doors/windows garage doors would need to be able to support the weight of the water outside

3) you need enough time to install ahead of a coming flood

4) if said flood doesn't come, how much damage to you get removing the product.

5)

That disclaimer at 1:55 is more than I expected.

I'm sure the product can help in some situations.

So I see they decided to go after gullible folks with the global warming fear tactics.

The commercial is obviously silly but I have always wondered if a waterproof home could be done without jacking the costs up too much. Similar concept to those bath tubs for old people that have doors in them.

While we're at it, can we get roofs that aren't fragile AF?

Somebody tell Elon to get on it.

You'd also have to seal all the hardie board around the house.
