Most of the books hadn’t even been colored yet.

That sounds exactly like what someone working for the CIA would say to debunk my theories.
It's all scientifically based facts and figures.

I heard a lot of the books weren't even colored in yet.
Oh wait you're talking about the Alexandria in Egypt. My bad.

Again?
I mean we’re just getting back from the last time all the knowledge was wiped out!

An easy 1000 years.
If that library had not burned would have had the moon landing in the year 1500.

Some. But Alexandria was well into decline at the time of the fire and most of the important scrolls/manuscripts were either removed or copied.
Still a huge loss.

It won't even take an EMP strike. Switching to MS Office 365 caused tons of companies and govt agencies to lose access to every office file dated 2007 or earlier. Most haven't even realized it yet.
Physical archives exist all over the world where papers/books/other information are kept and haven't been looked at for over a century. But they exist for someone to find one day.
Due to most data being stored digitally now, most info created between the mid 1990s and some point in the future will just be gone.

What caused the great flood
Where Atlantis was
Who built the pyramids
The Alexandria library was created much closer to us in time than to the construction of the pyramids. Pretty sure they believed it the same guys that historians/archaeologists do.
The great flood would be even further back in time, if it actually occurred.
Atlantis is a myth with possible seeds of truth that are likely far more mundane than most hope.

Probably not much. Most of the library wasn't the only copy.
