But lost twice to Utah and to Tulane in the bowl game. Also has a couple of other near misses.
He was outplayed by other qbs.
He is a good player and will likely deserve those accolades next year as I expect USC to be even better, but I would have probably gone with the TCU kid this year.

He’s great but the awards have become a social media and school popularity contest. Sometimes those two things align but I’d say this wasn’t that year

It's the system, not the QB. Same system that gave us Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray. Put any decent QB in there and they will put up big numbers
