Out of curiosity I wonder if the medical kits of either the team's staff or the ambulance, keeps nitro tablets on hand?

Need to stop game. Would be ridiculous to continue. Those guys can’t focus until they know he is ok.

One of the replays I saw showed him take the brunt of the impact to the chest. I wonder if that impact in the wrong place knocked his heart out of rhythm (or stopped it).

Absolutely. I can't imagine trying to play after watching a teammate go down like that.

Someone posted Pete as a real counterargument in a different thread . Go set that level-headed person straight- I was just being sarcastic.

24 year olds don’t typically have heart attacks.

Most 24 year olds aren't pumping all kind of growth hormones into their body and getting slammed into by 250 pounds of muscle either. Even w/a normal looking tackle if you get hit in the chest at just the wrong spot it can do serious damage.

There’s over 26 MD’s plus other healthcare professionals on the sideline at EVERY NFL game. They have everything possible at their side. Guaranteed.
