Someone said this exact thing to my thread last year. Then, we had the Quad State Tornado.

My yard and ditch can’t take much more rain. There’s still standing water from the rain yesterday morning.

Same here. I must’ve had a supercell or some shite pass over me cause we caught a metric frick ton of rain. Worse than anywhere else I’ve seen. Definitely don’t need anymore.

Till June.

With the negatively tilted trough some nice overlapping of term 2 and term 3 of the ageostrophic wind equation over the arklatex on Monday evening. Nice broad divergence over the area

Positive vorticity advection out the base of the trough

Isentropic ascent and moisture over the area.

Sounding along I-20

Someone in the Cold Christmas thread said, "It is going to be in the 70s next week."

I was like, yep....I know what that means. Wind shifted off the Gulf, kicked some Siberian arse, and has been pumping moisture North for days.*

It was warm enough yesterday that a yellow jacket lit me up twice while walking into a store. Apparently I am at the age now that the workers thought I may have been having a medical emergency as I grabbed my arm and grunted like a caveman.

You provide much better insight on these weather threads than I do. Feel free to start another one.
If not, I'll try to keep the OP updated

This is fine, man. I was just messing with you. You're better at keeping a thread updated.
