FU to all the JD lovers who won't face reality

AFter the Boutte announcement you've got to face reality.
I agree that JD was the guy for this year with his particular skill set in a transition year with a brand new Oline. I agree that in reality, it was not likely for us to win 9 games with either Nuss or Walker starting. Even Brennan, let me throw that in.
Having recognized his positives, if you can't see his limitations i don't know what to say. He will never be a a good passing QB. doesn't mean he can't have some good games against inferior opponents. But the reality is he is very unlikely to have a decent game against any competition with a decent defense. Yes, yes, miracles could happen, but do you really think he will start seeing the field and throwing receivers open? Do you?
we will have a very good oline next year. we will have adequate running game potential. we will have an upgrade at tight end, and we have superior reeivers. Which means, we need a qb that can actually pass the ball effectively against the BETTER defenses we will be facing. Yes, he had a great game against Alabama, but they were caught unawares when he actually threw the ball downfield. It was not great passing but our receivers made him look good. this will not happen again, or it is not likely.
Boutte, one of the best receivers in the country, never had a decent game with JD at the helm. His best game was the second half against Georgia. He was coming back until JD announced he was returning. He saw the handwriting on the wall.
Yes, Kelly will start JD. i know this is true. I like Kelly, and like what he is doing. I disagree with him about JD, and believe he will correct his error after we get into the SEC schedule, at which time the damage will be done as far as competing for any kind of title.
I'm sick of the posts for all the JD haters. we don't hate the kid. He is giving his all, and he did a helluva job this season. He should've been replaced after Arkansas. Just the way it is.
You will all be still defending him after he craps the bed next season. Because of our defense and Oline it is possible we beat Florida STate in the opener, despite JD's inadequacies, and he will look all-world against the rentawins. But after we get into a real schedule, he will look very pedestrian. I hope we have a helluva punter next season! Geaux Tigers!

I love how split this board is on this
For the record, I believe that Nuss or Howard should be QB1 next season.

Jayden Daniels will be the starting QB for LSU in 2023 and you'll sit down, shut up, and like it. Guy's a player.

It’s gonna be a long spring

We know you are a moron because he had a better 1st half with JD than 2nd half with Nuss.

It’s funny when his detractors will use his bad games as ample evidence why he will never ever ever be good but will call his numerous good games as lucky or flukes.

Boutte didn’t not declare because JD came back. This is a stupid debate. They’ve all been practicing for the bowl. He probably knew before we did and waited a week? No. Stop it.

that wasn’t even his best half of THAT game.
he had 2 catches for 27 yards in 2nd half.
he had 4 catches for 90 yards and a TD in the first half.

"JD lovers" don't make the decision to start him so....

This is equally as gay as the JD dude from earlier.

You are blinded by your own stupidity.
This is 100% false.

Look. I’ve yelled and screamed in games this year at JD5. I’ve also stood there in awe (at the swamp). He has the potential to be a really dynamic college QB. So does our other guys. Can we just freaking enjoy our team, coaching staff, and school evolve into the winner we now know they will be? Let’s see how he looks a full cycle into the system and then you can be the contrarian dick…
