my Browning lace ups finally died after 20+ years. mid-level insulated, half way up the calf. they were REALLY comfortable for upland/rough terrain. i deer hunt in Tx and Ok mainly. any recs for something similar?

edit: price is no problem, i SPEND MONEY on good footwear

I got some Danner lace ups like these and they are super comfortable and warm. If I can be slightly critical of them, the tread on the sole wore down pretty quick, but I've been wearing them for everything in the cold. I weld, cut trail, hunt, hike and everything in them.

Crispi Nevadas uninsulated have been as advertised for me. Zero break-in period, comfortable and supportive around the ankle, waterproof, etc. They do have insulated options as well. I want to wear these in the Texas summers as well as winter, so opted for uninsulated.

Bought a pair of Hoffman pac boots that are really warm. Been pleased with them so far.
