Watching Lille again, Tim Weah is severely under utilized. A couple of injuries and going through three coaches in the last three years certainly hasn’t helped. Even though he doesn’t have the numbers, he’s consistently involved in the run of play as Lille prefers bringing the ball up whichever side of the field he’s on.
Really hoping he transfers to the EPL where I could see his skill set thrive.

Are they still playing him as an outside back? It seems like they just won’t really give him a chance to start at Winger

Yes, on the left this time today. He does an excellent job in that position, which speaks to his versatility, but would be more optimal as a winger.

Man I just read that Atlanta and Emerson Hyndman mutually agreed to terminate his contact a couple weeks ago.
There was a time I thought he was going to be one of our mainstays in the midfield. Hopefully he can stay healthy and get on another MLS squad and get a decent career out of it.

just saw that. I was an Emerson truther for a long time, this makes me sad. I still genuinely think there’s something in there that can make him a productive domestic player at the very least
