I’ve noticed that on any post there’s almost always at least 1 a-hole making remarks discouraging people.

For example any buck that isn’t a trophy people will make comments about how it’s too small and too young. People wonder why the sport is declining. It’s not only the commercialization. It’s people like that who are discouraging novice hunters.

Is it a jealously thing?

That person’s shitty attitude is more than likely not limited to just their hunting, so keep that in mind

Part jealousy, partly because people feel like the WMA or that deer or whatever is "theirs" and get butthurt when other people use that resource in any way differently than they do or are able to.

Last night on the Area 4 Facebook post there was a guy standing over a shot yearling. For once I wanted to say something. But didn’t.

But what an idiot.

Well those guys suck. I'm happy for anyone out there having success. I walked past a guy setting up in the dark on the way to my spot Saturday, and as I sat there not seeing jack I daydreamed about how it would be cool if that guy got one, it ran over near me, and I could point him to it from my perch and then help him get it out. I just like being out there and appreciate others who do as well.

It should be more about educating people instead of mocking them. However I will add that there are always going to be ignorant people who know it’s wrong but do it anyway. In regards to killing yearlings.

Because every redneck ever born thinks he's the greatest deer `hunter ever.

Michael Waddell posted a video of a cull buck a few days ago and the first comment was

"That shot was high"

Well no shite Stevie Wonder could see that, but it killed the deer. You Genius Deer Hunter

I saw a post on there yesterday from someone asking if anyone was seeing similar rut activity on their cameras and the first comment was some guy saying “you need to know your deer man”
I think some people just don’t know how to be nice, but I think that inside the hunt community the good outweigh the bad, the bad are just louder about it.

There's a term for them, it's "haters."

They exist in every scene and culture and they are just miserable people taking their misery out on others.

Why would any grown man hunter ridicule any legally harvested deer by another hunter?

Kill a spike and post a picture on here and see what happens. Hell, I posted a pic of a six point on the IST once and was made fun of. It quickly made me realize who were outdoorsmen on here and who watches too much Outdoors with Lee and Tiffany.
