I have chewed on this a lot. One the one hand, do you want to roll the dice on a kid with character issues? On the other hand though, there actually are quite a few positive possible outcomes.
1: Denver's really damn good at a position you desperately need reloading at. He comes in and balls out for two years and then gets drafted highly, becoming the next LSU big time DB to bolster the DBU reputation.
2: He was a behavior problem at A&M but if Kelly can keep him in line, that only strengthens his claim that the program helps build good men.
3: It'll show a lot of good will to parents and recruits that he's willing to help those who want to be helped and give second chances. Reminds me a lot of the Saban speech on Muhsin Muhammad.
4: Denver'll be closer to family who can obviously help keep him on track and I'm sure he would be accepted to the team on strict conditions of staying on the straight and narrow.
All in all, it seems like a risk worth taking, no?

I don't think that scene ends very well for Jerry...
Hopefully the Harris/BK meeting comes to a better conclusion.

LSU with BK’s leadership is 100% the best place for him. Absolute take.

100%. Harris isn’t a hardened criminal. He’s a dumb, young kid that can still grow and mature.
If he doesn’t, you run him off.

IMO He’ll show up and tell Kelly everything Kelly wants to hear. He’ll get offered and accept it. Hopefully he stays out of trouble and balls for us. Time will tell but I fully expect him to be here next season.

You give him a shot with a short leash. If he screws up you dump him, easy as that.
The only players are not that fragile, they understand the Alignment Process.

Dude was caught being an 18 year old kid at a program with little to no structure to help support them from making bone headed mistakes. The overall health of the program and the structure/discipline BK has put in place is something Denver needs and should benefit from. I feel good about this meeting and think BK establishes clear expectations and we come out with a top flight plug and play corner.

Minor violations, kid just acting tacky.

Intial meeting was had with House and other coaches. Now it's up to Kelly to make the final yay or nay.

Depends on the outcome of the meeting…
He and his family could agree to the alignment process and everyone is happy…
Or could be just the opposite and just looking to see if LSU has a good bag.

He easily could have killed someone and recorded it with that parking garage stunt.
Saying we should sign him just because he hasn’t committed a horrible crime yet is dumb.
I don’t see the need to take the risk when you’re rebuilding a program culture from the ground up.

Thinking back on all the stupid shite I did at that age makes it really hard for me to condemn the kid.
