Anybody have any inside scoop on this?
Wonder what his plans are from here and what this means for LCA football?

I’m hearing LSU from the same source that broke his resignation earlier.

That would be awesome news. Trev is a great guy. My son played for him at LCA. I have rarely met a more respectful person.

What is LCA, for us out of state folks?

Lafayette Christian Academy. Relatively new school whose pastor is trying to create championship athletic programs using the Evangel model.

in TF's 7 seasons at LCA, the Knights made 6 consecutive state championship appearances (2017-2022) and won 4 in a row ... 2017-2020
if LSU has extended a position to Faulk, maybe it's to replace Corey Phillips as the Associate Director of Player Personnel ?

Trying? he's paid well for all the championships they've won, without any of the growing pains usually involved with new schools.

I was trying to be tactful with my wording. I’m not a fan of the way they operate.

I have no doubt there are some good kids that have gone through there and got some opportunities that they may not have gotten in their actual zoned schools, but LCA is a fricking athletic diploma factory. It's almost like a cult with the folks associated with that school.

Yea, my buddy is a local coach and they poached a kid after his freshman year who was a key contributor for them this year. They have also gone after a few of his other better players, including a kid who is an 8th grader right now.

Someone else posted this at 2:30 and then took it down. I wonder if he knows more?

A guy who i played city rec bball with is a figure over there and he told me that they prefer jr high aged kids so they don’t have to sit out. That way they can play them in varsity ASAP.

I’m almost certain they just started playing 11 man football a little over a decade ago.. the run they’ve been on is impressive regardless of the methods they’ve used to achieve it IMO
