Right now there's a pretty big case for election interference. If Republicans jump on it, they can use the Twitter files to springboard into other social media sites and bust them. This will create the legal impetus to fine them.
I don't think there's been anything specific released on the FBI/DHS, etc, that would allow us to tie them directly to the behavior and get first amendment violations out of it. And I believe it is deliberate and can't help wondering Musk's actual involvement in burying that connection. Unpopular though that opinion may be.

We shouldn't have to depend on Musk to get information about election interference. That's why we have a congress. Why should I vote Republican if their aim is to run cover for Dems?
