Watching LSU this season. How many times per game did you say, “throw the ball!”

I probably averaged 5 times per game.

So we should throw the ball to receivers who aren’t getting separation and space? JD definitely should have pulled the trigger a little more, but a lot of this was due to his receivers not getting the separation and space they needed.

Sorry, this simply isn't true. I went to every game except Tennessee and there were guys running wide open all year. I wish we had access to all-22 footage.

Is there a difference between “throw the ball” & “don’t hold it”?
Posted on 12/6/22 at 9:36 pm to GumboPot
Almost as much as I screamed Special Friggen teams!

Wonder how the first half QB had just about as many yards, was only sacked 2 more times than Nuss and that was when Georgia was not up by 25 and their defense was playing far more aggressive, a higher completion percentage on about the same number of attempts, less turnovers, and less negative yardage. All while playing injured. That’s weird.
Nuss made some nice deep passes. Hope he keeps progressing.

I gave up on that moron throwing the ball. Taking constant sacks seemed like a much better game plan
