They werent always open. But he ran or held it at times when they were. You can't argue this

To his credit, JD was solely responsible for the 9-4 record this year.

However, as the ability to effectively and efficiently pass IS ABSOLUTELY required against the majority of SEC defenses and he has failed to gain confidence or ability to do so, a QB personnel change will be required-IF LSU feels it has the team to go beyond his ceiling.

I too yelled “throw the f-ing ball “ 5 times/quarter. And, BTW, do we realize this makes two years in a row that our qb’s would take a loss rather than throw the ball? How many times in 2021 did Max Johnson simply run out bounds without throwing it away? Statistics? Whatever, maddening!

Our fans suck sometimes. You may not have liked the way he played all year but he played well most of the year and played hurt. We wouldn't be where we were without him. Insulting him is uncalled for.

We’d probably be in the Sugar Bowl at 11-2. Think we beat FSU handily and aTm in a barn burner.

Sorry, this simply isn't true. I went to every game except Tennessee and there were guys running wide open all year. I wish we had access to all-22 footage.

This is a true and factual statement

Good heavens, so many times watching him bounce in the pocket for seconds then...take off. Must have been discouraging for the receivers.

So we should throw the ball to receivers who aren’t getting separation and space?
so you think QBs only throw the ball when the receiver is wide open???

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of how the passing game works.

It seems like almost every one of Nabors catches have been tough catches with guys all over him as soon as he catches the ball.

That's what happens when the ball arrives late.

JD actually threw some nice balls against UGA. The TD to Boutte is a good example.

Boutte caught it in stride on the cross. He was in space was able to score. If the ball had gotten to him later, it may not have even been a catch.

you don't even need all22. Just watch the ESPN skycam...there were a lot a shots to be taken, especially in the middle of the field

Or maybe the safeties and LBs aren’t allowing any kind of space or potential to throw the ball to. It seems like almost every one of Nabors catches have been tough catches with guys all over him as soon as he catches the ball.

Because generally speaking, balls from JD have been late or under thrown (see above comments about JD’s inability to anticipate).

I promise that LB’s and safeties didn’t all of a sudden get better at taking away space after Myles or Max left…

I would say if I drank a beer every time I screamed that this season, I would have been continuously drunk from Labor Day and would not be sober until after Christmas…..:.:
