For those in the know, have seen him play, what are his strenghts, weakness , etc

He has the competitiveness of Tom Brady the football IQ of Peyton Manning the speed of Michael Vick the arm of Jamarcus Russell. Hes basically Jesus.

He’s LSU’s backup quarterback so he is obviously tRant’s team MVP

Sounds like Nuss !! ??
He's not a gunslinger, which is a good thing. Nuss this year is lucky to only have 3 ints in the 69 passes he has thrown. There have been multiple more that were either dropped or the defender couldn't get it. Kid acts like every pass is his last.

He’s got all the intangibles and can be the X factor. High ceiling and great motor. Off the charts football IQ. Flawless skin and enunciation.

Why do people always have to give dumb arse answers when someone here ask a genuine question.

Both Nuss and Howard have the arms and vision to read down field. I think the competition between those two would be a fierce battle.

He was a damn good high school QB. Will it transfer to college? Time will tell. He may be a #1 draft pick or he may completely fall apart. I’ve seen both happen with these highly rated high school QBs.
QB is without a doubt the hardest position to evaluate if the player will progress to the next level.

Because dumb arse people here always pump up the back up QB like he’s definitely going to be some kind of monster on the field when there is just no way to know this until you see them in action for more than a game or two in mop up duty.

He’s so much better than Burrow. He would throw for 75 TDs

Facts. And Saban offered him before he ever started a high school game

Saw him play ball in high school several times. Had an average line and decent receivers outside of Bech. He picked apart a lot of good defenses. Didn’t seem like gunslinger.
Watching Cincy with Denbrock and all of the short throws they made is what Howard did in high school. Both offenses look comparable in scheme. He may blow it up or shite the bed. Who knows…

If you've seen Kelly comment on him in pressers, there's little doubt that our staff thinks he's the next big thing. I am confident in saying that, in terms of their desire for QB's to stay on the roster, Howard would be #1. Nuss ain't beating him out in a fair competition. Daniels is the wildcard because of experience and Denbrock's affinity to his electric running ability. The best of all worlds would be for Howard/Nuss QB battle and a change of position to WR for Daniels.I think he could have a Tyrelle Pryor-type career as an NFL reciever. I just don't know that he will make it in the leage at QB. If he's confused by coverages now, i can only imagine what reading defenses would be like for him in the NFL.

This. It’s why JD never should have brought in and now needs to be processed.
