Why is LSU always destined to go to the Citrus / Outback bowl every year vs a boring B1G?

Feels like we’re in the 2013-2017 forgetful years. And it’s always against incredibly uninteresting teams that are worse than us. Then we always play down to them as we look ahead to the next season. shite is so old

Win more games and you won’t have to play in the Citrus/Outback bowl!

Well, maybe LSU should win more games then.

Yeah but we don’t win more games.

I’d say our trend looks like this

We haven’t been to a Florida bowl since 2017 and that wasn’t even against a big ten team
Went to one in 2016 also but that also wasn’t against a Big Ten team
Have to go all the way back to 2013 since we’ve played a big ten team in any bowl, Florida or otherwise
ETA: I just looked it up and this is just the 4th time we’ve ever played a Big Ten team in Florida.

Can you stop trolling? If you’re not and honestly feel that way after year one of a complete rebuild from that dumpster fire Orgeron left, please state all of the reasons why you believe that. Afew facts would be great.

Stop following LSU, start going to gay bars and see what happens.

I am looking forward to playing Purdue! A team we have never played is always interesting!

We're not "destined" to do anything. Had we taken care of business against A&M, we'd be primed for a revenge match against K-State in the Sugar Bowl. Instead we shite the bed, Bama is going to a NY6 bowl, and we're headed to Orlando.
Purdue is not any worse of a team than we are. They played Michigan as close as we did Georgia. They will be excited to play us and they will travel well. The question is, will Kelly be able to get our guys up for the booby prize bowl when, just 2 weeks ago, we were knocking on the door of a possible CFP berth?

Because when you lose to a sucky arse team like Texas A&M, that's what you deserve.

Jesus Christ. What bowl game did you think LSU was going to before the season started? Anyone who said LSU would end up in the Citrus bowl before the season would have been laughed at. It is year one. 11 months ago LSU limped into a bowl game with a 6-6 record with 39 scholarship players. After the CFP and Sugar Bowl/NY6, the Citrus bowl is the highest ranked bowl for SEC teams. I’m very happy they are ending the season with this bowl game. It is much better than Texas Bowl or Las Vegas Bowl.

Always? What bowls have we played in the last 2 years?

Going into the season, 8-4, unranked, in the Texas Bowl would have been a success. We've surpassed that. Future looks bright.

Hi fan who doesn’t know anything about the bowl selections or the chances of landing in the Florida bowls against a Big Ten team
