Honestly, Boutte may opt out if JD5 is starting. However, I don't think players opt out this year. This was a successful season for LSU.

Another conversation to be had is how "telling" Nabers comment in the post-game interview was. It clearly showed what he (and I'm sure the other WR's) thought about JD5. It was more an indictment on JD5 not giving his guys 50/50 balls and refusing to throw the ball with WR's open downfield. I tend to think there were times they didn't give maximum effort to get open, thinking JD5 wouldn't throw to them anyway.

I am. My daughter goes to TCU and we’re going to watch them get whipped by Michigan. It will make me feel better.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Daniels misses the game after his injuries. I know there’s a month lead up to the game, but that’s an easy way for the staff to give Nuss a good look in the bowl game.

Did we ever get a full update on Thomas’ injury after the game? Just wondering if he could miss for the same reason. The staff isn’t going to risk anyone’s off-season if they don’t get healthy for bowl practice.

Of course, some idiot has to bring this up. Any underclassman who plans to play at LSU next year better suit up; if not, I think that Kelly will get rid of them.
