Does anyone remember what the line was in 2001?

The line in 2001 was only LSU +7

Didn't Tennessee have 1 loss in 2001?

They also did not enter the game as national Champs from the prior year, nor were they hyped up before and during the season.

“one of the” implies there could be others. Don’t get bogged down on semantics, just cheers for our Tigers no matter what happens.

2001 was not expected. I went to both LSU Tennessee games that year. Tennessee’s D Line that year was probably the best I ever saw.

It was hard to run up the middle against John Henderson and Albert Hayneswotth.

No. UGA looses and they likely still make the playoff. The loss would mean nothing but playoff ranking.

As if anything posted by most of the mouth breathers on here is insightful, and even if it is it has no impact on the game.

LSU beating Georgia no matter the year does not qualify as an all time upset. It’s fricking LSU.

the right answer is yes. We're not talking about the playoffs, were talking about the actual game being played. UGA is on a 13 game winning streak and was last year's national champ and the #1 team. lsu beats them and UGA is 17.5 point favorites? LSU is barely a top 15 team with 3 losses.

If LSU wins tomorrow, it will EASILY be the biggest upset in SECG history.

2001 was great, but it would not even be close to the magnitude of an upset tomorrow.

Georgia is ripe for it.

I hope the UGA players have been hearing all week about how they can’t lose and are a lock for the playoffs no matter the outcome of the game. They’ll come in cocky and indifferent, and we will hopefully be motivated to correct our poor effort from last week.
