Soft Cell’s version of “Tainted Love”
Excellent cover
I'd say the live version where they mash that up with where did I love go is worth a listen

Lol I like to call Led Zeppelin the world's greatest cover band. A lot of their early ones are old blues covers reorganized.
A few I like

The best I have ever heard this song is when Trent Reznor did the song live and unplugged. It’s the most haunting version.
Played it on piano at the VMA’s

Kiss the Bottle by Lucero is a pretty good Jawbreaker cover.
Tyler Childers performance of the Greatful Dead Greatest Story Ever Told is legit.

Digital moron so no link but Firefall has a cover of an old Stephen Stills Buffalo Springfield song entitled
"It Doesn't Matter"
Some of the best acoustic and electric guitar work I have ever heard.
From the album entitled " Firefall"
YouTube it, you won't be disappointed !

My favorite covers are
Gary Jules - Mad World
And
John Cale - Hallelujah
I know a lot of people have their own favorites of Hallelujah, but this one is my favorite.

Just about every song listed is terrible.
Well just try to be open minded to anything outside of bro country for a few seconds. I know it’s impossible to out do “she thinks my tractor’s sexy” and “honky tonk badonkadonk” on sheer genius of lyrics.

Judas Priest's version of Green Manalishi originally performed by Fleetwood Mac.

Jimi Hendrix's cover of Bob Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower" was so transformative & definitive that Dylan famously started playing the song closer to Hendrix's version than his own original version.
