My buddy gave me a couple of jars of honey he got from his hives. I have never really used honey. What do you do with it?

Pour it over an open hot biscuit. Thank me later.

Also good on pancakes and waffles.

I never thought I'd see the day when someone asks how to use honey.

It’s great with butter on a biscuit. Some people put it on peanut butter sandwiches. We used to just put it on a slice of bread. You could put it on a toasted bagel with cream cheese. I like to add it to hot tea. You can add it to a vinaigrette. Use it to balance heat with some sweetness in a sauce. All kinds of uses.

Yellow mustard and an equal amount of honey makes a great chicken tender dip. Also a pretty good salad dressing if you sub creole mustard and a little cayenne.

I have never used it before. I apologize if I caused you discomfort. You are free to move along.

Make mead, super easy and pretty good to get a buzz on

It’s like 3 pounds of honey to 1 gallon of water. Order some yeast off Amazon for mead. Lalvin D47 isn’t too bad yeast.

I make a honey simple syrup to use in cocktails. Keep it in the fridge at all times. Also good with lemon for sore throat/cough
