Another phone would have to have features that clearly set it apart. Right now it's like a choice between a Chevy and a Ford, just personal preferences but basically the same.

No lie - I spent this entire past weekend watching review vids on the Iphone 14 and series 8 watch as I was finally about to make the jump back to apple for the first time in a decade.
This has me now looking at the Pixel 7 - just like that.
Apple leaving Twitter isn't going to kill Apple, but it will no doubt bring Elon into the phone market. And he'll come up with some mindblowing shite and suddenly, Tim Cook's pissing match creates another overnight competitor.
If I'm a big stockholder, I'm dropping some emails this afternoon.

Do you really think Google is better?

My company switching

I admit that Apple products are better but I prefer Android. And I can't stand Apple's politics and business tactics. No Fortnite, for example.

It would take me a lot to adopt apple. I've had a couple of company iPhones and hated them. I think it's just more about what you're used to honestly. I could see why apple people might not want to switch to Android but I can't stand using an iPhone.

Apple products and services are top notch, so I don’t like the idea of going back to android. However, Apple removing Twitter from App Store would probably push me to Samsung.
Apple literally can’t remove Twitter. Even if they remove the app you can still access it via web browser. There is nothing Apple can do to stop you accessing Twitter.

I don't use Apple products

I will definitely push me to leave on general principles. I won’t return if I do.

iPhones used to be great back in the late 2000s. But somewhere after the 4s, their software got old, stale, constricted, and buggy. After busting into the scene with innovation, they've been playing catch-up to everyone else.
The only saving graces for Apple is iMessage and the fact that their products are used for social status purposes.

I can't leave Apple as I do not own any of their products.

I've basically left them except for my MacBooks. Couldn't live without those
Posted on 11/30/22 at 6:45 am to Eli Goldfinger
I haven't used apple since my iPod held my music hostage years ago. frick apple, android has a lot of apps you can't get on Apple too. I'm not a die hard android guy , I just despise apple.

If Apple whacks Twitter, I would do it in a heartbeat if it meant zero interruption in my existing service, carrier, features, and price.

Someone with better services??
It’s all BS these people saying they are going to quit this or quit that. This is after all “tigerdroppings” and filled with loyal LSU fans even though the school lit up a state owned stadium in George Floyd’s high school colors and took the name of a WWII hero who donated a lot of money to school off the library and would not return his war medals to his family.

I'm not with Apple, so not much.

The only Apple product I've ever had is a subscription to Apple TV +, so it would take me buying the seasons of Ted Lasso on Bluray.

I wouldn’t be upset at all if we just went back to flip phones, or land lines. Having the world at your fingertips has made life a lot more complicated in many way.
